I was invited to that party, as well, but was at a concert ("Tortoise" -- one of Ed's favorite bands, I believe), so I missed it. Ed worked on a couple of shorts with me this summer, and the last time I saw him was about a week before he died, when we wrapped up another shoot... A memorial will be held for Ed next Saturday, Sept. 19th, at 2PM in the Valley. Contact me for more details, if you're interested. For many years, I have heard about you from my brother and his wife. I called them as soon as I got home to say, "You'll never guess who I met!" It was definitely Providential that our paths crossed...I'm sorry you had trouble finding us, but so glad you were able to make it! Thank you for coming and pitching in, and thank you for donating proceeds from this coming Friday's screening of your movie. I wish I could be there, too! Enjoy the Memorial Day holiday.
